The Valor Mortis platinum requires all 39 offline trophies: finish the story, complete the trophy-related side quests, collect every distinct Amber, unlock every weapon and Transmutation, maximize selected equipment, and perform several combat challenges. One playthrough is enough if you reserve a top-tier Transmutation upgrade material for Shield and earn Abyssal Eviction after taking Shield to level 5.
Treat that Shield upgrade as the route's critical decision. The final Transmutation material appears to have a limited supply. Spending every one on Fire and Stasis could leave you unable to unlock Shield Bash for Abyssal Eviction. Keep at least one Quintessential Transmutation Material unused until Shield is fully upgraded.

Reliable combat trophy setups
Broken Bridge aerial shots
Travel from The Outskirts > Broken Bridge and progress through the wall-jump and grapple sequence. Enemies positioned ahead of the later wall jumps provide targets for Aerial Annihilation and Windhover.
Unlock the Airborne Aiming skill before attempting the headshot route. It slows aiming while airborne, giving you more time to place the shot. For Aerial Annihilation, the killing shot must hit the head after a wall jump; earlier body damage does not invalidate the attempt. For Windhover, use the Pistol and score three airborne kills in total. They do not have to occur during one jump or against three enemies simultaneously.
If an enemy dies incorrectly, return to the Lantern to respawn the route. Do not rush directly into repeated jumps without checking your ammunition and the target's remaining health.
Fallen Village Marketplace group
The barn opposite Fallen Village > Marketplace produces a five-enemy group. Enter the barn, retreat toward the doorway, and block or reposition until the villagers cluster together.
For Scattershot, use the Blunderbuss after it has enough damage to kill the group with one shot. A level-6 Blunderbuss with the Collateral Damage upgrade is one suggested setup; the upgrade widens the spread. All five enemies must die from the same shot.
For Hood-Snatcher, return after obtaining the Claymore. Let at least three villagers align in front of you, charge the Claymore attack, and release it through the group. The attack must decapitate three enemies in one swing.
For Flaming Feast, gather four or more villagers and hold Fire on the group until Ignite is fully applied to at least four during one continuous use. Previous incomplete buildup is acceptable, but the successful application must come from one uninterrupted cast.
Ten safe parries
For Symphony of Steel, isolate a basic human enemy and respond only to its attacks. You need ten parries consecutively without taking damage. A normal guard still causes damage and resets the sequence, so do not substitute blocking when the timing is missed. Avoid attacking unless necessary to control the encounter; killing the practice target too early only forces another reset.
Consecutive ranged weak points
For God's Trigger, use the Pistol or Musket against enemies with clear heads or weak points. Land ten qualifying shots without a ranged miss. You may use melee attacks between shots, and repeated hits on a multi-hit weak point can contribute. The Battlefield near Onslaught Arch offers ordinary human targets, but any controlled sequence works.
Reload and reposition without firing speculative shots. A shot that misses the enemy or its valid weak point breaks the chain, so patience matters more than speed.
Shield Bash ledge kill
After raising Shield to level 5, travel from Fortress > Traverse, go uphill through the gate, and follow the outside path toward the tower. Two human enemies approach near a wooden platform. Draw one onto the platform, face it toward the drop, activate Shield, and use Shield Bash to push it backward.
The fall must kill the enemy for Abyssal Eviction. If the push angle is wrong or the enemy survives, return to the Lantern and repeat. Earn this trophy immediately after unlocking Shield Bash so the playthrough's critical material decision is conclusively resolved.
Upgrade and collection priorities

Bladesmith requires a melee weapon at its maximum level.
Weapon and Transmutation upgrades
Three trophies require one maximum-level item in separate categories. Concentrate resources instead of spreading the highest-tier materials across every option:
- Gun of Glory: take one firearm to level 10. The final step uses a Masterwork Firearm Part, so choose the firearm you intend to finish before spending that part.
- Bladesmith: take one melee weapon to level 10. Lower stages consume Crude, Pure, and Distilled Blade Materials before the final Quintessential Blade Material.
- Transmutation Artifex: take one Transmutation to level 5. Make Shield the first maximum Transmutation because the same investment unlocks Shield Bash for Abyssal Eviction.
This order converts one scarce-looking Transmutation upgrade into progress toward two trophies and removes the route's main failure risk.
Amber collection
Pick up every new Amber and check whether an apparent duplicate is an upgrade copy. Ambers provide passive effects rather than conventional armor statistics, but the platinum route does not require a particular build. It requires possession of every distinct Amber for Ambersmith.
Use a name-by-name checklist when auditing the collection, and continue until Ambersmith unlocks. Duplicate upgrades alone cannot replace a missing distinct Amber.
Quest completion checks
A quest conversation or item pickup is not necessarily the completion point. Confirm that the corresponding trophy has unlocked before leaving the region. This is especially important for multi-step objectives:
- Oathbound extends across the campaign and ends through its Fortress-related secret area.
- Monster Hunt requires 17 drawings across the City of Orphans and its sewers.
- An Unheard Farewell begins with the missing soldiers in the Valley of Ashes and awards Aggressive Reconnaissance only when the quest is completed.
- Laudanum, Curious Case of Seamus Diggory, and The Deserter each have their own completion trophies.
