Finish The Deserter by following the clues around Under the Bridge in the Vale of Wrath, opening the Beekeeper's Hut and collecting three Anubis Figurine Parts. Each part is in an unmarked beehive. Avoid hives painted with a red X: they contain aggressive bees rather than the safe pickup you need.
The third part completes the figurine and the quest automatically. You do not need to take the assembled figurine to another region or find a separate final quest giver.
Follow the clues to the Beekeeper's Hut
From the Under the Bridge Lantern, cross the broken platforms and follow the path through the ruined shack. Read the Wanted Notice on the ground to begin the investigation. Continue uphill past the shrine and examine the body and paper near the end of that path.
Use the nearby grapple points to reach the grassy area containing the Beekeeper's Hut. An Eternal Guardsman protects the hut. Defeat him to obtain the Beekeeper's Hut Key, then unlock the door and read the Deserter's Diary inside.
Defeat this guard to obtain the key to the hut.
Parrying his attacks is one suggested way to create an opening. Using an Oil Grenade is an optional combat aid described by Method; neither tactic is a separate quest condition. The required outcome is obtaining the key and reading the diary.
The hut also contains Perfectionism Amber. This is a pickup in the hut, distinct from the Amber awarded for completing The Deserter.
Read the beehive markings before searching
Pick up the Beekeeper's Note outside. It explains why some hives are marked: red X means dangerous; no X means the safe hive. Apply this rule at each group instead of choosing by proximity or inspecting every hive in turn.
The figurine was broken into three pieces and hidden across the surrounding area. All three groups are on the local route; you do not need to leave the Vale of Wrath to finish the collection.
First part beside the hut
Search the cluster immediately outside the Beekeeper's Hut. Identify the unmarked hive and interact with it for the first Anubis Figurine Part. The marked hives beside it are not additional quest targets.

This is the quickest place to check if you have opened the hut but have not collected any parts. Reading the diary does not automatically search the hives for you.
Second part near the camp approach
Continue toward the camp beyond the painter's house. Before the wooden barricades, check the small grassy recess on the right of the body-strewn path. A second group of hives sits there.
If you have already opened the shortcut ladder from Under the Bridge, it provides another approach to this section. Either route reaches the same group; completing the painter's whole quest is not established as a separate requirement for collecting this piece.

Once again, inspect the hive without a red X to collect the second part. Be alert to the enemies and explosive bodies along the approach so you can examine the markings without being interrupted.
Third part behind the first house
Continue across the bridge toward the gate held open with Stasis. After passing through, enter the first house on the right and go through to its backyard. The last hive group is behind the building, rather than in the hut where you found the diary.

Interact with the unmarked hive for the final part. The pieces form the Anubis Figurine, the quest closes and you receive Bountiful Harvest Amber. Completing the quest is also associated with the Hand in the Jar achievement.
Bountiful Harvest lets you gain health from Nephtoglobin remnants. Do not confuse it with Perfectionism, which was available earlier inside the hut.

A red X is a warning rather than a marker for a required hive. If a search has only provoked bees, inspect the remaining unmarked hive at that group instead of assuming the part belongs to another quest.
